About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Access Operations in Dawn, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, greeting visitors, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. You will support security operations through attentive access management, clear reporting, and a visible presence that helps deter incidents. The role calls for integrity, teamwork, reliability, and a people-first approach. The pay rate is $15.48 per hour, paid weekly. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor and control access points by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations calmly, following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
