About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time overnight Security Officer Patrol Driver in Richmond, Virginia, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The unarmed officer conducts foot and vehicle patrols, maintains a visible security presence, helps deter incidents, and provides customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal policy. The stated pay rate is $19.00 per hour. The schedule is 11:00 PM–7:00 AM on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-related concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following reporting and escalation procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in required logs and reports.
