About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time overnight Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a utility location in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The officer will help safeguard employees, contractors, visitors, and facilities by providing customer service, conducting patrols, monitoring access and activity, and responding to incidents in accordance with site procedures. The role is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and pays $23.49 per hour.

Employment is conditional on background and drug screening, as permitted by applicable law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and report unauthorized or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations professionally and calmly, following established site procedures.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and communications in required reports and logs.
