About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology-focused location in Sandston, Virginia. The role serves and safeguards clients in industries including technology, media, and telecommunications. The officer monitors assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, helps deter incidents, supports access control, and responds to alarms and other security concerns. The position also involves providing customer service, documenting activity with technology, and communicating with team members. The schedule listed is Monday and Friday, 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, data center areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Accurately document patrol activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
