About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer Enhanced in Savannah, Georgia, at a manufacturing and industrial location. The role provides a designated site and weekly anchor shifts requiring a six-month commitment. In addition to those fixed shifts, the officer may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The pay rate is $20.17 per hour.

The scheduled shifts are Wednesday and Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. The officer provides customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency responses. The position also involves responding to incidents and alarms, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access points and visitors, completing activity reports, and communicating with company leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, subject to applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations while following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site-specific procedures, documenting observations and reporting concerns.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
