About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed in Brunswick, Georgia. The role provides consistent hours at an assigned aerospace and defense site, with a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The listed pay rate is $18.00 per hour, and the scheduled shift is Saturday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Access control or badge experience.
• CPR certification.
• Alarm panel experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in accordance with site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, aircraft-adjacent areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
• Accurately and promptly document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
