About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an unarmed Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Greenville, South Carolina, for a logistics and distribution location. The role provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to that shift. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform, potentially working up to 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back. The position is paid $15.24 per hour. The listed shift is Saturday, 3:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers while following site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and personal belongings according to established access-control and screening procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access authorization, and report unauthorized activity or policy violations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following site-specific procedures and documenting observations as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, docks, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
