About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution in El Monte, California. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. The role is scheduled Monday and Tuesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
A guard card or license.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures and help deter unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
