Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Visitor Access Coordination
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to support a food and beverage location in Groveport, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access points, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position involves working with employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.19 per hour. Employees can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
- Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements required by applicable state or local laws and regulations before employment, if applicable.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Complete clear and accurate reports, logs, and shift handoffs concerning security activities and observations.
