About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Visitor Access Control in Lockbourne, Ohio, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and respond to security-related concerns. The role includes providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team that reflects Allied Universal’s values. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.07 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Experience with access control and badge processes.
A Guard Card or license.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership about observed conditions, incidents, and policy violations.
