About The Position

Marksman Security is hiring Unarmed Security Officers to provide access control and security services. Officers welcome visitors, verify identities, guide visitors, scan badges, and create badges for client employees, vendors, and guests. They also conduct patrols, inspect security equipment, answer questions in person or by phone, help protect people and property, and document incidents and security concerns. The role requires computer literacy, including the ability to type and learn new programs.

The posting offers full-time weekday first- and second-shift schedules: 5:30 AM–1:30 PM or 1:30 PM–9:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Positions pay $20 per hour. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Hold a non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas.
• Have strong customer service skills and excellent customer service experience.
• Be familiar with report writing.
• Have previous metal detection experience.
• Be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Be able to sit, stand, walk, or climb stairs for extended periods.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Have at least six months of proven security experience via TOPS history.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• Prior badging experience is a plus.
