Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control
About The Position
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Atlanta, Georgia, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. The position involves routine patrols, responding to alarms and access-control needs, and providing customer service and communication. The role is full-time and pays $16.64 per hour. The scheduled hours are Monday through Wednesday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements depend on applicable state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, communicating relevant information to property contacts and emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications with clear, accurate details.
