About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol security officer to support a healthcare location in Chantilly, Virginia. The officer will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and communicate courteously with patients, visitors, and staff. The role contributes to a welcoming environment through teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, at a rate of $20.30 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of laboratory, office, parking, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures to help maintain an orderly environment for healthcare operations.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
Accurately and completely document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
