About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role serves and safeguards clients while helping maintain a welcoming environment through customer service, clear communication, and a visible security presence. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and the pay rate is $17.51 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and maintenance-related hazards.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, document observations, and complete required incident reports.
Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, maintain accurate activity logs, and promptly escalate security-related concerns.
