About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer to support a manufacturing and industrial location in Martin, Tennessee. The officer will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas and access points, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. The role involves responding to incidents, alarms, and critical situations according to established site protocols, maintaining accurate logs and incident documentation, and communicating hazards, maintenance concerns, and security issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. The schedule is Thursdays and Fridays from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17.20 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
