About The Position

As an Unarmed Security Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in West Warwick, Rhode Island, you will help safeguard clients, employees, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, provide customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns. The position is part-time and pays $16.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements if required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with visitor, contractor, and delivery procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
