About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Unarmed Access Control Driver to serve and safeguard clients at a hotel and resort location in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The role provides a professional front desk presence, welcomes guests, monitors access, responds to security-related concerns, and delivers exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

The position is scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and pays $20.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing requirements may apply before employment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any state or local licensing requirements that apply before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to hotel and resort guests, visitors, and staff while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Greet and direct guests and visitors, verify access as required, and assist with general inquiries as a professional front desk presence.
• Monitor lobby and entrance activity, report suspicious or unusual conditions, and help deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and communication records.
• Coordinate with hotel personnel and emergency responders as needed.
