About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a commercial real estate location in Tampa, Florida. The officer will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The position includes providing professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors while supporting a welcoming environment. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and access protocols, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site policies and procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately.
Maintain professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
