About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Lithia Springs, Georgia. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control. The role includes providing professional customer service, communicating with employees and visitors, and using technology to document activity. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Pay is $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Alarm panel experience.
Customer service experience.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills when addressing incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations according to site procedures.
