About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will monitor assigned areas, conduct regular and random patrols, maintain a visible presence, support access control, respond to alarms and loss-prevention concerns, and provide customer service and communication. The schedule is Thursday and Friday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.55 per hour.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Alarm panel experience.
Loss prevention experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, access points, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter areas.
Monitor access, observe and report unusual activity, and maintain accurate records of patrols, incidents, and visitor or contractor activity.
Assist with enforcing site access requirements and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
