About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer - Access Credential in Mulberry, Florida, serving a chemical/petrochemical location. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, conducting patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. The role also involves communicating professionally with employees and guests and supporting a welcoming environment. The scheduled hours are Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific access-control procedures and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with facility procedures.
Control vehicle and pedestrian access to a chemical processing location, direct approved traffic to designated areas, and report unauthorized access attempts.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following established escalation and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
