About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for an assigned site in Nashville, Tennessee. The role provides a fixed weekly schedule of Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a six-month commitment to the designated site and shifts. Officers may claim additional shifts through a scheduling platform, allowing them to increase their hours up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The position pays $20.00 per hour and supports security operations at a food and beverage distribution location. Site facilities are limited and include portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate site personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures to help deter unauthorized entry.
• Support orderly operations at a food and beverage distribution location by reporting security concerns, maintaining required logs, and following post instructions.
