About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Credential Specialist at a residential location in Boynton Beach, Florida, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and provide professional customer service to residents and guests. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A guard card is required.
At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
Access control or badge experience.
Possession of a guard card or license is described as preferred, although a guard card is also listed as required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, issue access credentials as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
Respond to resident concerns, access-related incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support site-specific policies.
Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with reporting procedures.
