About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for a retail distribution location in Tracy, California. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. The role includes using technology to document observations and activities, responding to incidents and alarms, and following site-specific procedures. The position pays $19.98 per hour and has a schedule listed as Monday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM and Sunday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Applicants must have at least two years of security-related experience, be at least 18 years old for unarmed work, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. A background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen are conditions of employment. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific policies, security procedures, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution center, loading areas, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned locations.
Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit procedures for employees, contractors, vendors, and delivery drivers.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.
