About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage production and distribution location in Groveport, Ohio. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel professionally. The role involves reporting security concerns and helping maintain a welcoming environment. The position is scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Officers carry out site-specific security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities; respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; conduct patrols; monitor access points; maintain security logs and reports; and assist with traffic flow and directions during busy operational periods.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and promptly communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery access according to site requirements.
Maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
Assist with traffic flow, employee and visitor directions, and access control during shift changes, deliveries, and other high-volume operational periods.
