About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a retail location in Livonia, Michigan. The officer will safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service to visitors and team members. The role includes responding calmly to incidents and disturbances, reporting concerns, and documenting patrol activities and observations. The posted schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, customer disturbances, and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location.
Report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Accurately document incidents, patrol activities, and observations.
Communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
