About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution in Glen Allen, Virginia, you will help safeguard clients, employees, and visitors. You will conduct visible and routine patrols, support a welcoming environment, provide customer service, and respond professionally to security concerns. The position is scheduled Wednesday through Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, and pays $22.66 per hour.

Requirements

Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
Guard card or license.
CPR and/or First Aid certification.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and report unusual conditions or access concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.
