About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting in Mountain View, California, you will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and clients. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. The role involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, and responding professionally to security-related concerns.

The position is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and pays $25.50 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and, where permitted by law, drug screening. Applicable licensing requirements may apply before employment.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and taking part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site policies, assist with directions, and report unusual conditions.
• Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
