About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Property Patrol Security Officer in Marcy, New York, serving a logistics and distribution location. The officer conducts routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supports a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. The role provides customer service and responds professionally to security-related concerns, alarms, incidents, and critical situations.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of distribution areas, parking lots, access points, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Observe entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; promptly notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, access-related observations, and other security-related events.
