About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol security officer for a logistics and distribution location in Pomona, California. The role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, helping deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, responding to alarms, communicating professionally with employees and visitors, and providing customer service. The posted pay rate is $21.00 per hour. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while following site-specific procedures and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse, loading dock, trailer yard, parking, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and driver credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Document patrol findings, access-control activities, and security-related incidents accurately and promptly.
