About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Los Indios, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. The role includes providing customer service, communicating clearly with visitors and staff, and supporting a welcoming and professional environment. This is a full-time position with a listed pay rate of $13.92 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas; deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and authorized entry requirements; maintain accurate logs and incident documentation according to site policies.
Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
