About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced Unarmed Patrol in South Dennis, Massachusetts. The position provides reliable hours at an assigned site, with a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday, 10:00 PM–8:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and property policies and carrying out appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking locations, and the property perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
