About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer in Whitsett, North Carolina, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. Officers use computer or tablet tools to support daily activities and communicate professionally with people at the site. The schedule is Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $16.89 per hour. Part-time officers may use the Claim a Shift platform to access additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and taking part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, technology areas, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, and report access-control issues or policy violations.
Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken during assigned shifts.
