About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location in Charlotte, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the property and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, providing customer service, and documenting security-related activities. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, lobbies, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and the property perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property.
Document incidents, maintenance concerns, and policy violations in accordance with site requirements.
Provide directions, assist visitors, and communicate respectfully with property staff, tenants, and first responders.
