About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer in Culver City, California, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer conducts regular and random patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provides professional customer service to employees, visitors, clients, and personnel. The role supports a welcoming environment and follows site-specific security procedures and policies. The position pays $19.32 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. A background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen are conditions of employment. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor and personnel activity according to site-specific requirements.
Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
