Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Campus Patrol Route Driver
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a campus patrol route driving position in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. The officer will serve and safeguard clients at a retail location, helping maintain a safe environment for shoppers and staff through patrols, visible presence, customer service, and timely reporting. The driving role requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Applicants must meet the stated age, education, and screening requirements. Requirements
- Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail sales floors, stockrooms, entrances, the exterior perimeter, and assigned adjacent mall common areas.
- Help deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior through visible presence, observation, and timely reporting.
- Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
