About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Unarmed Campus Patrol in Los Angeles, California. The officer will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, and responding to alarm-related activity. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and helping create a welcoming environment. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The pay rate is $19.25 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local rules.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter of a financial institution location.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help deter unauthorized access through a professional presence.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site-specific protocols, and escalate concerns to appropriate personnel.
Document patrol activities, incidents, observations, and daily occurrences in accurate reports and logs.
