About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Placida, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients at a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to visitors, personnel, and marina patrons. You will communicate professionally, report observations, and help maintain a welcoming environment. This is a full-time position scheduled Friday through Sunday, 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., paying $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and marina patrons by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of docks, waterfront areas, parking areas, buildings, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe vehicle, pedestrian, and vessel activity in accordance with established government-location procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document events as required.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with company and site-specific policies.
