About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Lincoln, Nebraska. The officer will maintain a visible security presence, conduct patrols, respond to concerns, communicate with employees and visitors, and provide customer service. The role is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and pays $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license if the position requires driving.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors, and reporting unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
