About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a residential location in Cardington, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard residents and visitors by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. The role includes customer service, incident response, accurate documentation, and communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The pay rate is $14.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation.
Communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
