About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location in Cleveland, Ohio. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned campus areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The role emphasizes customer service, professional communication, integrity, and responding to security-related concerns. The position is scheduled for Thursday and Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Saturday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any state or local licensing requirements that may apply before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while following site-specific policies, security procedures, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking locations, walkways, and perimeter areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Monitor access points and activity in assigned areas, helping deter unauthorized access and reporting suspicious conditions or behavior.
Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
