About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver to serve and safeguard clients at a retail location in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves providing customer service to shoppers, associates, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies. The officer conducts routine and random patrols, maintains a visible presence, monitors activity, responds to incidents, and documents observations. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 for armed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, associates, and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized behavior.
Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to site procedures, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
