About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a government location in San Bernardino, California. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and helping deter security-related incidents. The role also involves providing professional customer service to staff and visitors and responding to security-related concerns. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $21.49 per hour. Officers can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location while following security procedures and site-specific policies, and carrying out emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vehicle activity according to established site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; contact appropriate personnel or emergency responders as directed.
Accurately document observations, patrol activity, and incidents, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
