About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Florence, New Jersey. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, and responding to security-related concerns. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, integrity, and teamwork. The position is scheduled Monday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.74 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements that may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials according to site procedures, and report access-control concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, follow site protocols, and contact emergency services when needed.
Prepare accurate activity and incident reports, document observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
