About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer for patrol duties at a healthcare location in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. The role serves and safeguards patients, visitors, staff, and the property by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security concerns, and supporting a welcoming environment. This is primarily a driving post, with scheduled shifts on Tuesdays and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local law.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding property.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction and access-control procedures.
Report suspicious activity and policy violations.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
