About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in Pomona, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a grocery-related location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, provide customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. The scheduled hours are Thursday through Sunday, 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the grocery store, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, delivery activity, and customer traffic while helping deter unauthorized access or theft-related activity and supporting a welcoming environment.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate clearly with site leadership, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management as needed.
