About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution in Austin, Texas, you will help safeguard clients, employees, and visitors. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide customer service. You will communicate professionally and use technology to document activities. The role is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify authorized access according to site procedures; and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
Accurately document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
