About The Position

The Security Officer serves and safeguards clients at a retail location in Commercial Point, Ohio. This is a full-time unarmed route patrol driving position focused on routine patrols, visible deterrence, customer service, communication, and responding to security-related needs. The officer helps maintain a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff while working as part of a team that emphasizes reliability, innovation, integrity, and putting people first. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The stated pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, performing emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail sales floor, stock areas, exterior perimeter, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe activity at the location; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
Maintain accurate activity logs and complete incident reports.
Communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
