Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Route Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Route Driver in Charlotte, North Carolina, you will serve and safeguard clients at commercial real estate and retail locations. You will monitor and patrol the property while maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and employees and help support a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The position is full time, pays $17.85 per hour, and follows a night schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent, and be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws. Customer service experience and comfort using a computer or tablet are preferred. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the commercial property, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
- Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, property conditions, and policy violations, and report observations through required channels.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
- Assist with access control, visitor directions, and tenant service requests while helping deter unauthorized activity.
