About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Security Officer in Los Indios, Texas, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. You will communicate professionally while supporting a welcoming environment and follow site procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $13.92 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
